Our IV curve tracer monitors the PV panels output whilst adjusting for cell temperature and irradiance levels in real time, we then compare this information to the PV panel manufacturers data sheet.

From this test we can determine the efficiency of the system and how much output is being lost.

PV panels degrade over time. This can happen due to soiling on the panels which can be cleaned, also panels can develop cracks over time which allows moisture into the panel cells causing failures.
